Basic computer and log in information for first time Centra users.

Centra is an online collaboration and webconferencing application provided free of charge to Texas A&M University System faculty, staff, students, and affiliated users as a service of TTVN.

Centra user and technical support is provided by your organization's Centra Administrator and the TTVN Centra Support staff.

There are three distinct types of Centra events:
- Meeting
- Classroom
- Webinar -
There are three ways to log in to a Centra event.

Centra has three different user interfaces. You choice of user interface depends on your level of participation in the Centra event.

The Centra Audio Wizard, available in the Centra Desktop user interface, enables you to fine-tune the performance of your speakers and microphone prior to a Centra event.

The Centra audio controls allow you to turn on and off your microphone during a Centra event. The Centra audio controls also enable you to adjust speaker and microphone volume during a Centra event.

Centra Text Chat allows participants to ask questions of presenters or make comments that can be viewed by one or all of the event participants

The Centra Network Status Indicator provides a reference for the usability of your network connection.

Centra Meeting, Classroom, and Webinar event leaders can upload PowerPoint presentations to the Agenda for presentation before or during a Centra Meeting.
